Disney+ Korea Unveils Its 2025 Second-Half Lineup: Star-Studded Productions Revealed

On May 23, Walt Disney Company Korea held its Disney+ Open House in Gangnam, Seoul, unveiling the platform’s highly anticipated 2025 second-half content lineup.
Marking the fourth anniversary of its Korean service launch, Disney+ emphasized its commitment to local storytelling with a broad slate of dramas, variety shows, and original series featuring Korea’s top-tier talent.

Low Life

Adapted from Yoon Tae-ho’s webtoon, this crime drama stars Ryu Seung-ryong, Yang Se-jong, and Lim Soo-jung. Set around a sunken treasure ship, it tells the gripping story of rural villagers entangled in a survival-driven scheme.
Polaris

With a high-profile cast including Jun Ji-hyun, Kang Dong Won, and John Cho, and created by director Kim Hee-won and writer Jung Seo-kyung, this geopolitical thriller follows former UN ambassador Moon-joo as she teams up with mysterious agent Sanho to uncover a looming threat to the Korean peninsula.
